Fire Station

The Sustainable Fire Station project redefines traditional fire-station design through a holistic approach that prioritizes sustainability, operational efficiency, and environmental stewardship. Utilizing the site's natural topography, the layout integrates directed paths for water flow, replacing conventional catch basins with a large bioswale. This innovative stormwater management system not only minimizes environmental impact but also enhances the station's resilience to extreme weather events. Within the station, careful attention is paid to achieving appropriate fire and sound transmission class (STC) ratings between occupancies with the use of various wall and floor assemblies, ensuring both operational effectiveness and firefighter well-being. Developed entirely in Revit, the project benefits from coordination and professional documentation of wall and component schedules.
