Mall/ Office

The OBC Mall Office project was developed based on a provided package for a two-story building, accommodating two different occupations while adhering to OBC standards and compliance requirements. The design process involved calculating Fire Resistance Ratings (FRR) for exterior wall assemblies and floors, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Special attention was given to the connections between the two differently classified floors. Occupancy load calculations were utilized to determine the necessary provisions for male and female washrooms, optimizing space utilization and functionality. Additionally, arbitrary area calculations were dimensions of beams, girders, and the thickness of the metal deck. Collaboration was central to the project's success, with regular communication among team members to track progress and plan future steps effectively.
