Wood Application

By researching the pros and cons of different building materials such as concrete, metal, and wood, wood emerged as the preferred choice for its versatility and sustainability. This project reflects the extensive exploration of wood applications in structural bays, columns, and decking systems, including its adaptation in staggered under terraces and cassette systems for typical floors. Additionally, the program emphasizes three sunlight and shadow meditation techniques: clerestory, shading fins, and an altered sawtooth design for rainwater drainage.
